Description

The structure of the American box type substation, also named pad mounted transformer is divided into two parts, the front and rear parts, the common specification is 13.8kv pad mounted transformer.

The front part is the wiring cabinet. The wiring cabinet includes high and low voltage terminals, high-voltage load switch, plug-in fuse, high-voltage tap-changer operating handle, oil level gauge, oil temperature The rear part is the oil tank body and heat sink. The transformer windings, iron core, high-voltage load switch and plug-in fuse are all in the oil tank body. The box adopts a fully sealed structure. It has a double-layer structure, with the high and low voltage chambers placed above the transformer chamber.
